Review about Graphic Design and Multimedia Application Software
Introduction
I am study Graphic Design and Multimedia at Zaman University Phnom Penh/Cambodia (www.zamanuniversity.com). There are many job opportunities of study Graphic Design and multimedia, such as 2D and 3D animators, computer games designers, graphic designers, web design for all businesses, fashion designers, cartoon and movies producers, multimedia, etc. You may find more information about Graphic Design and Multimedia from Zaman University department page (http://www.zamanuniversity.edu.kh/en/node/52) and download the brochure from http://www.zamanuniversity.com/pdf_files/brochure_ICT_2010.pdf link. There are programs used by designer.
Generally, this software is really good for designer and 3D work. This new version might be giving user too many advantages as much as user expert. However, there are a few consequences that user will be concern, such as he higher prices to purchase this software, and easy for professional user only, because of many faction to learn about it.

Basically, Fontographer is the new software that gives users to create new fonts as their need and want. This 21st font may be product by this software. There are many of tool to design and work as fast as it can. So, this software is really good for who study graphic design and multimedia. But I never try it before.

Using Google SketchUp software that bring user to built new house, building , or something around by simple tool and 3D model. It is possible to know and learn about this software for who study Graphic Design and multimedia. I think that it one is the best choice for me to start and practice my work.

Photoshop CS5 is the latest version after the Photoshop CS4. It have more ability to keep image and using the new technology of tool to crate or design photo as much as user need.
Photoshop CS5 make photographers, artists, designers feel comfortable than even before.
Pros:· Million of feature that use to be design.
· Can create a 3D image.
· Can install for window and Mac.
Cons: · Contains far too many tools
· Too much power
· Too complicated for casual use
· Expensive

Fontographer is the software to create now font. This software was popular with designer and publisher who need powerful of tool to complex their work.
Fontographer software can be designed and make the font innovation as possible as user can, such as new symbols, special characters, and logos by the imagination of user.
Pros:· Wonderful tool to create new fonts.
· Interesting software for designer
· Improve technology
· Give the chance for who like to crate something new
· Can be use in window and Mac

Google SketchUp is the software that gives the ability for user to learn and create 3D modal of house, space of ship, table, Car.
Google SketchUp software is easy to use even beginner or professional, but is take a few times to learn wall about tool.
Pros:· Easy to use.
· Basic to learn how to create 3D models.
· Install for free.
Cons: · Don’t have some update yet
· Tool still hard to use and slow

Question, how can you response that photoshop CS5 is a good ability to keep image or something else ? I'm kinda not sure about your reason about the information of your Photoshop CS5, so please if you don't mind; give us more clear detail of this program. Moreover, base on your background of your blog, I'm sorry to say it but I must say it, your templet is dark and also with your letter black, when it combine together; it very hard to understand and also difficult to read.

The most recent Photoshop version is CS5, but CS6 will be coming soon. I don't think that it can create 3D images. It is more likely to import some 3D models from outside, and putting patterns or textures on them. Moreover, it doesn't really require high performance systems compare to other design software.Indeed, it is really expensive. One license costs about 500 US dollars.

ReplyDeleteWhat is your experience about this program? Have you edited images using this program before? I have learned a bit about Photoshop back in grade 10. So, I could do some simple job on this program.
